Hello! My name is Rachel Hannusch. I am currently a Neuroscience major at Trinity University who will be graduating this year. For my thesis, I am doing a research project on identifying possible environmental risk factors for autism/autistic behavior. To mothers of children with an ASD diagnosis: I was wondering if you might be willing to answer some questions about your experience before and during pregnancy (diet, amount of sleep, medications during pregnancy), as well as during labor (duration, intensity, at-home/water birth/etc.). For comparison purposes, I need to gather experiences from parents of children both with and without autism or autism spectrum disorder. This research is potentially suited for publication; I promise not to take up much of your time, and any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
